With a vision to build a downtown creative haven that would rejuvenate Detroitís musical legacy, and possessing the technical expertise to transform that dream into a reality, Mark Pastoria is the driving force behind the state-of-the-art recording studio that stands as the centerpiece of Harmonie Park. Mark amassed impressive production credentials after joining the Detroit rock band Adrenalin in 1981, as keyboard player, before subsequently becoming part of the restructured group DC Drive in 1988. Roger Silvi
Vice President - Business Development
Mr. Silvi has plenty of musical and business experience to draw from. Following two years of musical theory and composition with Dr. Jeffery Babcock at Olivet College, he enrolled in the Business School at Wayne State University in Detroit and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. This led to a career that has spanned more than 25 years including successful business and entrepreneurial experience ranging from business ownership and management to developing travel and entertainment packages.
Throughout his career he has written songs and jingles, and produced many shows featuring name-entertainers at Masonic Temple Theater in Detroit.
Silvi continues the musical tradition of his family as a musician and composer. He has played guitar and performed with numerous local groups varying in styles from big band to top forty. His father, Jack was a jazz pianist in the Detroit area for many years. His uncle, Gino Silvi was a popular arranger, musician and composer on CBC radio and television with The Gino Silvi Singers.

Larry Lee

Harmonie Park is excited to be working with Larry Lee. His band Back In The Day is an old school funk R&B Band and he is one talented individual. Mr. Lee spent 18 years in the NFL. 9 as a player and 9 as an executive. During his playing years he played for the Detroit Lions, Miami Dolphins, and the Denver Broncos. (read more...)

In 1973, Ralphe Armstrong - a 17-year-old Detroit kid just out of high school tried out for a gig with the Mahavishnu Orchestra. "The other person who auditioned at the same time was Jaco Pastorius," he says." Jaco had a different sound then. He had an old, beat-up fretted Fender Precision, as I recall.
